Director resigns from her position

The board of directors of Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum announces that director and chief curator Katya García-Antón will step down from her position on 15 July 2024. The museum thanks García-Antón for her work during her tenure.

- It hasn't been an easy decision, but family life is taking me back to Oslo. 

I would like to thank the board and my colleagues at the museum for their cooperation, and I wish Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum all the best," says Katya García-Antón. 

Hanne Jakhelln will take over as acting director from 15 July 2024.
