Welcome to the opening of "Layers of Time - Everyday Life in Svalbard" at the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum in Nordover.

We are proud to present a unique insight into everyday life on Svalbard through the eyes of three generations of artists connected to the archipelago:

Herta Grøndal Lampert / Leif Archie Grøndal / Eva Grøndal / Aggie Grøndal Peterson.

"Layers of Time - Everyday Life in Svalbard" challenges common notions of Spitsbergen as masculine, heroic, uninhabited and inhospitable. Join us for an evening filled with reflection and togetherness through art. Eva Grøndal and Aggie Grøndal Peterson as well as the curator are present at the opening.
