International embroidery workshop

Do you want to learn embroidery together with people from different countries and cultures? Tromsø based artist Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid hosts a free embroidery workshop for everyone. The workshop takes place in Britta Marakatt-Labba's exhibition, with inspiring embroideries from Sámi history, mythology and everyday life.
The workshop is drop-in, with an introduction to Marakatt-Labba's art at the top of each hour. We finish at 21.00.
This is a collaboration between Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum, the research project Sustainable Diverse Cities: Innovation in integration at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and International week.
