Queen’s Gambit displays works from the museum’s collection linked to the game of chess, with focus on players, tactics and battle. Queen’s Gambit is one of the oldest chess openings and is defined by the opening moves: 1.d4 d5 2.c4. Here, White is willing to sacrifice a player in order to conquer the center of the board. It is up to Black to decide whether or not he wants to accept this challenge.
