Welcome to the exhibition opening! Join us and follow us into Ingunn Utsi's artistry in her first solo exhibition at the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum.
Ingunn Utsi (1948), winner of the John Savio Prize 2023, works with drawing, sculpture and installation. This exhibition shows a large selection of sculptures and drawings from her early career to the present day.
She is best known for her sculptures in driftwood to which she adds materials such as leather, fur, gemstones, feathers, bone and Plexiglas. Through dialogue with the materials, they are transformed into sculptures with power and soul.
The exhibition "I am what I have done" will show a large selection of Utsi's sculptures and drawings from his early career to the present day.
